Captain Courageous of Bangladesh Mashrafe Mortaza will receive a ‘honourary post’ in Bangladesh police very soon, as the law enforcing authorities decided to honor his World Cup’s heroics in Australia and New Zealand.
After taking into account of his recent performance in World Cup 2015 where he led the Tigers to the quarterfinals for the first time ever, police authorities of the country have taken the decision to honor him.
S M Moniruzzaman, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police of Khulna range, recently revealed to the media that the steps were underway in this regard to offer an honorary post of Bangladesh Police to the cricket hero.
He, however, did not clarify what post will be given to the cricket boss.
In the meantime, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the leader of Bangladesh cricket, however, reportedly agreed to receive the honorary post as well.
According to sources, captain of Bangladesh T20 and ODI team Mashrafe Mortaza and India’s ex skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had something in common in their childhood.
In their school-boy’s dreams, they both wanted to be an active member of the armed forces, a daring and dashing hero in uniform!
